Subject: Broken Glass
Dear Joy:
How nice to hear from you! And thanks for the wonderful comments about the website. You're right about the reunion. I haven't been to it in years, but I sure enjoyed my whirlwind trip through there last summer. I wish I had planned better and had a chance to stay over with your folks, but at least I got to see your dad's pencil collection and break a glass of water on their fireplace.
I'm working toward putting an old publication about the Mudge Ranch out there on the web. That was a few years before Hanston was established, but is a very interesting story. It's a back burner project and will eventually be at mudgeranch.com.

Wow! I Googled "Leslie C. Koontz" and it was first on the list. I will look forward to the Mudge Ranch link. I hope I can remember to check it out at a later date.
Is the girl in the first picture of the farm your Mom? Couldn't tell who it was but it definitely looked like a Koontz girl. Thanks for your reply and I will continue to check your "chronicles".

Thanks for the feedback; I always wonder if I have the meta-words set up properly in the page headers. The Mudge Ranch will be a while yet in coming; I'll try to remind you when I get it out there. I have the booklet transcribed, but I have to generate the home page and a some background stuff.
The girl in the picture is reportedly Aunt Clarice (Koontz) Miller, although mom wasn't absolutely sure.
Thanks again for your interest in the Cortez Chronicles.
